Tidy Numbers

I have been learning how to subtract by using tidy numbers. we have been doing it to make it easy to subtract in our head.

Science road show

last week we went to a road show. It was amazing I enjoyed making a plane and throwing it up a big air tube. There was a thing  were you could see over 100 of you faces. A lady had a type of spray that made a candle blow up into huge flames. I was wowed that the building did not blow up into flames. I learnt about how the human arm works and what the bone looks like. I would like to learn more about the human body. They showed us a big pile of poo lucky it was plastic.

In class we did a metaphor about us and what we think we are

David Nyika Commonwealth Games 2018 edited

             

 David is a star light heavyweight  boxer champ. David has starred at two commonwealth games and won two gold. David was born on the 7th of august 1995. David was born in hamilton. He is 1.93m tall,his weighs is 91kg. David starts training at 5:30am to 7:30 am. His collage was  hamilton boys high.  He started boxing when he was 11 which was in 2006 a year before i was born.  David had his first fight at the age of 11.

David became the first nz boxer to stand on the podium since 2002. 5 years before i was born. Davids whole name is david kieran nyika. David nyika has one older brother. David’s first commonwealth games  were in glasgow in 2014 That was the first gold medal that he ever got. David beat 19 people in his career. Davids cousin is the nz famous boxer joseph parker.

My name is corbyn i’m 10 years. i go to paparore school our school is just up the road from the  beach. i live in a town called kaitaia.

I’m good at playing sport managing sport. I enjoy riding mx fishing and hunting. My biggest challenge is to get 100 equations for  our basic facts at school. My goals for this year are to get 100 for my basic facts.
